As a student, I have taken up many interests in sports, law, and politics.

Sports

Over the course of my four years, I have worked in some of the highest roles within Michigan Athletics. I got my start with ‘The Michigan Daily’ as a sportswriter and worked as the Michigan Baseball Beat Writer my freshman year. I then joined the Michigan Student Radio Station, WCBN, my sophomore year, performing live play-by-play commentary on every Michigan Varsity sport. Shortly after, I joined Big Ten Student U, a sports broadcasting group that streams live Michigan sporting events on Big Ten Network Plus. Finally, I was hired as the Michigan football and basketball beat writer for SB Nation’s MaizenBrew in August 2023, and I have been writing five articles a week on the two sports ever since.

Pre-Law

As an aspiring law student, I have taken numerous opportunities to gain hands-on legal experience as an undergraduate student. For two summers, I worked for Griboff Law, LLC in Rockville, MD as a legal assistant, drafting wills and estate plans for the elder law firm. In January 2024, I was hired as an intern in the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office in Ann Arbor, working in their domestic violence unit. It was here where I listened and transcribed hours of jail calls each week, and I wrote memos to the Prosecuting Attorneys involving, but not limited to, coercion and incrimination, resulting in motions to the court regarding bond, and admissible evidence to convict domestic violence offenders.

Politics

As a Washington, DC-area native, I have grown up immersed in politics, personally lobbying Members of Congress on social, technological, and economic issues. These experiences led me to pursue a political science degree to learn about the varying levels of politics and bring change to my peers’ everyday lives. During the Summer of 2024, I worked on Capitol Hill in Senator Ben Ray Luján’s Office, answering the phones and handling direct constituent inquiries, processing and responding to daily phone and digital constituent correspondence, assisting legislative staff with legislative action projects, researching current Senate legislation, and drafting PR statements with the Senator’s communications team.

Today, I continue to write and broadcast some of the biggest games in Michigan Athletics, writing the recap for the NCAA Football National Championship Game, broadcasting the 2024 Michigan vs. Ohio State football game in Columbus, Ohio, and being on the call in Madison Square Garden as the Michigan Basketball team faced Arkansas in the Jimmy V Classic in December 2024.
